Wine 201 provides an engaging and accessible journey through the history of wine. Participants will explore wine's origins from ancient times and its Medieval heritage to its complex introduction to America and the subsequent Golden Ages. The seminar delves into the three "travesties of wine" that threatened wine's existence, the rival beverages that competed for dominance, and the pivotal roles of technology and nature in advancing and preserving wine throughout the ages. This informative session is complemented by the opportunity to taste eight exceptional wines from Willowcroft, all within a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.
