Willowcroft’s wines are made using the handcrafted techniques that have been learned and improved over the 30 years of operation. Keeping the productions small allows us to pay attention to each detail in the winery and vineyard process which has resulted in international award winning wines year after year.

Our long experience with Virginia viticulture has enabled us to select those varieties in which we know grow the best. Location on the Catoctin Mountain is ideal for its elevation aspect and soil. To learn more about our vineyards and the variety of grapes we grow, visit About Us page.

White Wines

2021 Seyval – $31/Bottle. Cold fermented in Stainless Steel, this wine is light, dry, and crisp with wonderful citrus notes and a soft grapefruit finish. Great with seafoods!

2020 Cold Steel Chardonnay – $30/Bottle. Cold fermented in Stainless Steel, this dry, unoaked Chardonnay is a quick seller. Wonderful fruity notes join the sophistication of the Chardonnay grape.

2020 Chardonnay Reserve – $34/Bottle. Aged in Oak for 9 months. Great balance of light butter & oak. One of our best selling wines! Enjoy with brie, quiche, or grilled chicken and fish. Dry.

2020 Albariño – $32/Bottle. Aged and finished in steel, this lovely crisp dry white wine features citrus, mineral, and peach notes. Great with seafood & chicken dishes. VA Governor’s Cup 2022 Silver, Loudoun Wine Awards 2020 Silver.

2020 Albariño Reserve – $39/Bottle. Fermented and aged in French, American, and Hungarian oak. This wonderful dry white wine is smooth on the palate with mineral & peach notes. A Wine Club Exclusive. 

2020 Vidal Blanc – $29/Bottle. Off-dry (1.5% RS) with delightful subtle tangy apple flavor & a nice, soft pear-like finish. A Wine Club Exclusive. 

2019 Harmony – $28/Bottle. This wine is a dry blend of Vidal Blanc and Traminette, light and crisp with wonderful pear notes, held in steel. Atlantic Seaboard 2021 Silver.

2020 Traminette – $29/Bottle. A cousin of Gewurztraminer, dry (<0.2% RS). Fruity and crisp with a touch of Lychee fruit. Loudoun Wine Awards 2021 Best in Class and Gold, Jefferson Cup 2021 Silver, American Wine Association 2021 Silver. A Wine Club Exclusive.

2018 Riesling Muscat-Ottonel – $28/Bottle. Dry & floral with subtle green apple and honeyed apricot notes.  Dry.  Great with Asian foods. Pacific Rim International 2020 Bronze.

2020 Riesling – $28/Bottle. A dry white wine with crisp and bright acidity. Light citrus notes of lime and lemon zest. Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition 2021 Silver, San Francisco International 2021 Bronze, American Wine Society 2021 Bronze. A Wine Club Exclusive.

2020 Muscat-Ottonel – $29/Bottle. Off dry with a honeysuckle nose. White peach forward with notes of lychee. Nice citrus zest finish. 91% Muscat-Ottonel, 4% Riesling, and 5% Petit Manseng. American Seaboard Wine Competition 2021 Silver, Jefferson Cup 2021 Silver, San Francisco International 2021 Bronze.

NV Applause – $28/Bottle. Dry apple wine with delightful subtle tangy apple wine with a light apple flavor.  Paired best with a glass & the deck!! Atlantic Seaboard 2021 Bronze.

2020 Petit Manseng – $30/Bottle. This sweet white wine has rich citrus & honeysuckle flavors.  Great with heavy hors d’oeuvres or for dessert!

Rosé Wines

2021 Rose of Sharon – $32/Bottle. Dry Provence style rosé made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chambourcin.

Red Wines

2020 Chambourcin – $36/Bottle. A lighter-bodied dry vintage with soft tannins, makes this a very easy drinking red. notes of tart cranberry with hints of vanilla on the finish. Ages in Hungarian and neutral American oak for 9 months. Serve at room temperature or chilled for a summer red.

2020 Merlot – $38/Bottle. Medium-bodied, dry with an earthy nose from rich being aged in new American oak for 9 months. This smooth Merlot is great paired with light pasta dishes. Dry. A Wine Club Exclusive.

2020 Cabernet Franc – $39/Bottle. Delicious medium-bodied wine with light tannins Dark fruit on the palate with a soft mouth feel. Dry.

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon – $38/Bottle. A medium-bodied fruit forward, aged in French and Hungarian Oak for 9 months.  Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot blended in to make a delightfully dry red wine.

2020 Petit Verdot – $41/Bottle. Delicious full-bodied wine with Ruby Red color, aromas of cherry, light pepper finish. Dark fruit on the palate with a soft mouth feel. Dry.

2019 Assemblage Select – $55/Bottle. A distinct Left Bank Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Dry with a smoky nose and flavor with notes of black stone fruit. Full-bodied, silky tannin structure. 42% Petit Verdot, 41% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, and a touch of Merlot. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Aged in Oak for 20 months. VA Governor’s Cup 2022 Silver, Jefferson Cup 2021 Silver, American Wine Society 2021 Silver. A Wine Club Exclusive.
