Feb 29: Wine 201 with Woods

 | 5:53 pm |

Join us Saturday, February 29th, for an educational seated tasting starting at 12 p.m.

Wine 201 is a fun and easy exploration into the history of wine. You will explore wine from its ancient roots and Medieval heritage to its challenged arrival in America to its first and second Golden Ages. You will learn about the three travesties that challenged the very existence wine, rival beverages that contended (and won?) for primacy, and how technology and mother nature have each advanced and even saved wine over the ages. All in a fun and interactive atmosphere while tasting eight of Willowcroft’s great wines.

This event is limited to 20 people. The cost is $15 per person / $11.25 per club member. Please contact Kim with questions or to make a reservation: kim@willowcroftwine.com or 703-777-8161.
